We are pleased to introduce the latest version of JMatPro®, the leading software for calculating material data. Version 15 is now available and brings numerous new features that help engineers, researchers and practitioners achieve even better results in designing products and processes more efficiently while optimizing energy consumption.
Matplus EDA® Version 24.0 is available - the latest update for enhanced materials information and knowledge management. The new version provides extended tools for integrating materials knowledge into Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Matplus EDA is designed to optimise the handling and analysis of material data from master data to laboratory data and practical application in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). After more than one decade of intensive research and continuous development, Matplus has become widely recognised in the industry. With the release of EDA 23, Matplus reinforces its position as the leading provider of materials information systems.
JMatPro® is the simulation software that allows a wide range of properties of technical alloys to be calculated easily. The solution has been highly appreciated for years in industry and research for its ease of use and solid results for practical applications. With the new version 14, the already versatile capabilities of JMatPro® have been significantly expanded, with a focus on steel and aluminium. The optimization of alloys and manufacturing processes as well as the generation of consistent material cards for FEM simulation can make a significant contribution to reducing material and energy costs.
The Aluminum Association and Matplus GmbH today launched a digitalized version of the recognized International Alloy Designations and Chemical Composition Limits For Wrought Aluminum Alloys – also called Teal Sheets – in the cloud as an online database powered by Matplus EDA®.

This training provides a quick introduction to the use of JMatPro® and enables you to get to know the background to the calculations and models.
On June 3, 2025, we are offering a full-day training on the creation and use of electronic workflows (BPMN) with a focus on questions from materials engineering practice in Wuppertal.
The training explains the basics of BPMN and shows how BPMN models can be created and executed directly in EDA.
The 13th JMatPro® User Conference will take place on October 14-15, 2025 in Wuppertal.
